Our initial class products have integrated Computational Storage Engines (CSEs) into specialized System-on-Chip (SoC) controllers for NVMe SSDs to create the Better SSD. CSEs make the drives more efficient by reducing write activity and make the system more efficient by offloading specific storage processing functions from the CPU to relieve bottlenecks in server memory and processing. Transparent to the system, applications, and users, this is a simple proven approach to optimizing the data pipeline for modern workloads.
